My Dreams

There is so much I want to achieve in my life. I want to become a Massage Therapist, become a part-time photographer, and also learn how to develop a website. I know I can go to school for all of these. But first I have to get a job and save money to get a car.

I am determined to succeed and I will one day. As of right now my life isn't where I want it to be. I am making major changes in all aspects in my life. From changing the way I look to hair to wearing making up on a daily basics and also my clothes. Besides all of these. I have am having a different outlook in life as you can see from my last post.

I was watching TV and Ch 7 had a brief showing of the Specs Howard School of Broadcasting. I am not interested in radio or TV but they have a new program in Web design. I am thinking about going there rather than the college I attend. I am going back to Macomb to finish my degree in Associate of Arts. I have a few more classes and once I start something I have to finish it.

I got this quote from the Specs Howard website. It is from a past student that is now really successful. He owns his one DJ. Videography company called Mike Staff Productions. This is what he said: Don't just e-mail your resume and hope for the best. Pursue your dream job. This means to relentlessly follow up on job leads and dedicate yourself to building relationships. Don't take "No" as meaning "never" but rather "not right now". Do something EVERY DAY in pursuit of a job. I'm convinced that the only way to fail in this business is to give up….so don't give up! Give yourself some time to succeed.

I will be reading this on a daily basics for inspiration.
