Thinking about going Vegan or Vegetarian

A few weeks back I saw a show on the BBC called You are what you eat. They showed what is in hot dogs and I am never eating a hot dog again ever since I seen what they put in it. I don't eat cute animals like rabbit, dear, duck, and veal. (baby cow) and also creepy things like snails and mussels eww. Anyways, I was watching the Janice Dickinson Modeling Project a few days ago and they had a person from the organization Peta (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals). They showed a video of how they torture the animals. I am a animal lover and after watching this video on their website I was almost in tears. I do not wear fur or use products that are used on animals. That is JUST PLAN CRUEL.I am thinking about the next step by not eating them. It's gonna take a lot of hard work researching and trying then trying this out cause I love my chicken and I just gotta learn to eat vegan or vegetarian.

This is a part of my change and it will take time to get used to.

Information: What is a Vegetarian?

There are several categories of vegetarians, all of whom avoid meat and/or animal products. The vegan or total vegetarian diet includes only foods from plants: fruits, vegetables, legumes (dried beans and peas), grains, seeds, and nuts. The lactovegetarian diet includes plant foods plus cheese and other dairy products. The ovo-lactovegetarian (or lacto-ovovege-tarian) diet also includes eggs. Semi-vegetarians do not eat red meat but include chicken and fish with plant foods, dairy products, and eggs.

What is a Vegan?
Vegans do not eat meat of any kind and also do not eat eggs
, dairy products, or processed foods containing these or other animal-derived ingredients such as gelatin. Many vegans also refrain from eating foods that are made using animal products that may not contain animal products in the finished process, such as sugar and some wines. Although there is some debate as to whether certain foods, such as honey, fit into a vegan diet, if you are cooking for other vegans, it is best to err on the side of caution and avoid using these foods.
